Hyundai Motor has announced the list of models offered with discounts in the month of May. The list includes the Exter SUV for the first time since its launch in July last year. Exeter is the Korean car manufacturer’s smallest and most affordable SUV in India. Apart from the Exter, Hyundai is also offering benefits this month on other models including the i20, Grand i10 Nios and the Venue sub-compact SUV. There is no incentive for those looking to buy a new Creta in May.
Hyundai is offering several benefits under its scheme in May including cash discounts, corporate discounts and exchange benefits. The biggest gainer among Hyundai models this month is the Grand i10 Nios which takes on the Tata Tiago and the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Swift. The Korean car maker is offering up to the perks ₹48,000 on Grand i10 Nios which includes ₹35,000 as cash benefit, ₹10,000 as exchange bonus and ₹3,000 as corporate discount.
The Hyundai i20, a rival to the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Tata Altroz, also benefits from up to ₹45,000 in May. offering discounts up to ₹35,000 on i20s sold in eastern and southern states while hatchbacks sold in central, northern and western states get the maximum benefit. The car maker is offering ₹25,000 and ₹35,000 cash discount on the i20, depending on the market, in addition to the flat ₹10,000 off as exchange bonus.

The Hyundai Venue, one of the best-selling models from the carmaker, comes with benefits ranging from ₹35,000 this month. Maruti Brezza gets Tata Nexon rival ₹25,000 as cash discount and others ₹10,000 as an exchange incentive. The Exter, the smallest Hyundai SUV, benefits the least in the scheme. The carmaker is offering a flat ₹10,000 cash discount on Exeter in May.
Hyundai has not included some of its other flagship models like Creta, Verna, Tucson and Alcazar in the list of beneficiaries this month. This list also does not include any electric cars that Hyundai offers in India.
