Oscar nominee Hugh Jackman and Emmy award winner Jodie Comer are all set to star Robin Hood Re-imagined, Death of Robin Hood.

Directed by Michael Sarnoski, whose previous projects include The Pig and a Quiet Place: Day One, Upcoming film set to be produced Prestige Producer Aaron Ryder.

The film itself is a deep and dark reimagining of the classic Robin Hood Story.

In the sequel, the main character will struggle with his past after dedicating his life to crime and murder.

Although production is scheduled to begin in February 2025, Lyrical Media has cautioned against fully financing the project.

Additionally, Ryder and Andrew Sweat are set to produce under their Ryder Picture Company banner, with Lyrical’s John Rosenberg, Natalie Sellers, Rama Gottumukkala, Sarnoski and Jackman serving as executive producers.

Reflecting on the film, Sarnoski said: “This has been an incredible opportunity to reinvent and reinvent the story that we all know about Robin Hood.”

“It was essential to secure the right cast to transform the script to the screen. I couldn’t be more thrilled and confident in Hugh and Jody to bring this story to life in a powerful and meaningful way.

Meanwhile, Ryder and Sweat commented: “This is not the Robin Hood story we all know.”

“Instead, Michael has created something more grounded and profound. “Thanks to Alexander Black and our friends at Lyrical, as well as Rama and Michael, the world will love to see Hugh and Jodie together in this epic,” he said.
