The temperature is expected to climb higher in the weekend in the weekend.
Met office senior meteorologist Marco Petagna said: “I think Wednesday is probably going to be the day when we can start reaching the range of 25 to 28 degrees, it depends on where you are.
“But of course, you need three days at temperatures that are called technical heatwaves for this.
“Therefore, although the temperature will reach the criteria, we probably will not reach an official heatwave around Friday, to give three consecutive days to those temperatures.
“But the temperature continues to climb as we go to the end of the week and of course we can see 30 degrees till Friday and Saturday, perhaps getting naked in the short 30s.
“In the weekend, we can just start seeing humidity growing slightly and in the night temperature it seems as if they are going to be getting more uncomfortable by night.”
It is absolutely uncertain as to how long it will be hot, although it appears such as the UK will survive the 30s of the 30s stifting weather and the lower 40s seen in the Mediterranean Sea.
Mr. Petagna said: “It is a bit of a question mark through the weekend in the beginning of the next week that will last how long the summer will last and how much temperature will be, as some models are like pushing heat a little more quickly, while others go on to heat.
“At this stage it seems that at the end of the next week, we should hold the hot weather to the south of the UK and the temperature can definitely occur again in the less 30s in some places.
“And we are going to see some very high pollen and too much UV levels.
“But at this stage, we have managed to escape from some of the highest temperatures seen in Spain and Portugal, where it has reached the middle of the 40s.”
It follows a yellow warning for thunder in the weekend of cooler air, clouds and rain in most of England and the country’s east on Sunday.
