Kate Middleton diagnosed with cancer at 42

The daughter of French First Lady Brigitte Macron has strongly criticized rumors that her mother was born a man.

French lawyer Tifaine Ozier compared her mother to Kate Middleton and confirmed that it was appropriate for her to use legal measures to combat online misinformation.

Macron launched legal action in a French court against false statements published by the right-wing magazine Faits et Documents (Facts and Documents), claiming the importance of legal support in such cases.

Speaking to The Telegraph, Ozzie said she was delighted her mother had taken the magazine to court and praised the Princess of Wales after she announced she was undergoing treatment for cancer.

She said: “There are obvious victims, such as my mother and the Princess of Wales, but there are others who are fueled by misinformation and confusion.

“I was very moved by Kate’s video. I found it very touching. There she was, asking people to leave her alone so she could continue her treatment in peace.

How does France's Brigitte Macron combat similar misinformation about Kate Middleton?

“But it really moved me. I thought she was very brave because in the end she was forced to do it and it was so stressful.”

“Even though she has a lot more important things to think about, everything is tainted with fake news and every piece of misinformation is worse than the one before. We’ve been through the same thing and I find this argument bizarre, like being Tell us we are all ruled by lizards.”

President Macron, 47, expressed anger and frustration at continued speculation about Brigitte Macron, 70, whom he married in 2007. He called the rumors about his wife “false and fabricated.”

“The worst is disinformation and fabricated scenarios,” President Macron told reporters in a speech on Friday for International Women’s Day.

“People will eventually believe them and bother you, even when you’re intimate.”

Princess Kate is currently recovering and has started preventive chemotherapy.
