Shrewsbury, PA. (AP) – A truck load of warm dogs in a pencilvania interstate on Friday briefly closed the artery in both directions in a pencilvania interstate.
The crew teams were stuck with a job that they did not do – rolling the scattered tube stake for disposal.
“Once they leave the truck and hit the road, it is all garbage, and it is still very hot,” said Brad Dabarman, head of Shrewsbury Fire Company.
The state police said that the tractor trailer had an unlocked mechanical problem at the north of the Maryland line on the interstate 83 in the trailer, as the morning crowd was wrapping the time of the morning, causing it to push into a passenger vehicle. When the truck scored with a solid divider, its trailer opened and the material was scattered.
Four people needed medical treatment, Dabarman said, for the injuries that the police said that there was no threat to life.
A front-end loader was used to scoop the hot dog and leave them in a dump truck.
Dabarman said that the emergency crew cannot help, but can see humor in the situation, and his daughter gave him a picture of a hot dog-themed T-shirt.
“I can personally tell you, hot dogs are very slippery,” said the fire chief. “I did not know.”
