The 2024 Hanteo Music Awards took place over the weekend, and it was a terrifying experience for many attendees. While K-pop fans hoped for an unforgettable experience, a series of events turned the event into a nightmare. One of the incidents involved a fan pooping in his pants.

Several social media users attending the awards show took to X (formerly Twitter) to say they saw a man pooping in his pants and the stench quickly spread. To make matters worse, people noticed feces residue on their clothes, which made the situation even worse.

“Someone pooped in the standing area near the singers’ waiting area… They said security came to check and they confirmed it was poop. F*ck,” a social media user named @twitfordori posted on X, Translated by Koreanaboo.

On one side, people are dealing with a poop incident, while another group is dealing with a schoolboy who peed in a crowd. A social media user who goes by the handle @lemona725 on X said they attended the ceremony and witnessed the student urinating in the crowd. “Someone peed in section A of HMA and all the fans in the center were holding back crying…Stop the awards show!! Security even said it was for the better because fans wouldn’t push like that,” they wrote.

Social media users also claimed they noticed used condoms in bins at the event. Disgusted social media users shared their horror stories on X. “Before the poop incident, someone peed. It was buried because of the poop, but it happened near the middle row. However, someone said that someone had sex in the standing area while ZEROBASEONE was performing. There was also something in the trash can Condoms. What a mess. Is this an award show or a toilet?” one social media user named @gelleis2 said on X.

Some social media users also noted that a fan fainted, a fight broke out, and the stench of poop affected the K-pop idol.

Organizers have yet to comment on the incidents.
