CCTV footage shows two men filling a canister with fuel before it burst into a deadly house fire, killing a mother and her three children.
Bryony Gawith, 29, died from injuries sustained in the fire on Westbury Road, along with her children Dennisty Burtley, nine, Oscar Burtley, five, and 22-month-old Aubrey Burtley. bradfordIn August 2024.
Sharaz Ali, 40, opened fire at Ms Gawith’s home, where his former partner Antonia, Bryony’s sister, was living after ending their “abusive” relationship earlier that month. Antonia managed to escape the burning property.
Callum Sunderland, 26, went to the house with Ali and knocked on the door for her.
At Doncaster Crown Court on Wednesday (November 10), Ali, of Langbar Avenue, was convicted of four counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. Sunderland, of Calton Street, was convicted of four counts of murder.
