hollyoaks Fans are shocked by this Shocking death of legendary character Perry LomaxAfter 12 years on the soap.
During Tuesday night’s episode, Peri (played by Ruby O’Donnell) was killed when a chimney caused by an explosion in the village fell on Peri and crushed her.
The explosion was caused by Jez Blake and Claire Devine, who were fighting when their plane crashed into the village, crashing into a wedding and hitting the Love Boat (the city’s famous floating restaurant and bar).
Claire climbs out of the debris, leaving Jez behind, while Tony Hutchinson wakes up to find Nancy Osborn trapped under the debris.
Cleo McQueen was also entangled in some wiring and was in danger of being dragged underwater, while Diane was unconscious on the love boat.
Tony and Darren managed to rescue Nancy, Dodger Savage rescued Cleo, while Mercedes boarded the love boat and tried to convince Diane to escape.
As the cocktail bar explodes, Perry arrives at the village square with Jack and Tom Cunningham. She pushes Tom out of harm’s way, but is hit by a falling chimney.
“It’s crushed me, Tom. I can’t feel my legs,” she said.
Perry’s mother, Leela, left the pub to be with her daughter, who then said her last words: “You will always be my hero.”
Fans are sharing their grief online, with one person writing on X/Twitter: “hollyoaks “For what reason did you kill Perry?”

For her portrayal of Peri, O’Donnell won Best Youth Performance at the 2016 British Soap Awards.
She has been at the center of the show’s most intriguing storylines, such as her tumultuous relationship with Abe Fielding, discovering that her sister is actually her mother, and another romance with Juliet Nightingale.
Elsewhere in the episode, Mercedes and Mary were both trapped under debris and needed help.
Mary said she felt like she was going into labor, so Tony went to help her, but discovered she was lying about her pregnancy with a fake bump.
Meanwhile, Jez emerges from the water after Claire leaves him for dead. He then gets into a fight between Sienna, Cleo, and Dodger, who were arguing over Cleo and Dodger’s secret kiss.
Violence erupts between Sienna and Dodger before the episode ends.
