Over the next three days, isolated to scattered rainfall is likely over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, South Rayalaseema, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and islands.
Rain in Tamil Nadu and Kerala
The weather office has predicted widespread light to moderate rain and thundershowers across south India, with a special warning of heavy rain in some areas. According to weather updates, light to moderate rain at many places along with heavy rain at isolated places is expected over Tamil Nadu on November 7 and 8. Similar weather is expected for Kerala and Mahe from November 8 to 10.
Apart from this, rain is likely at isolated places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema and South Interior Karnataka on November 7.
There is also a possibility of thunderstorm and lightning in Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Mahe, South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.
The sky will be mainly clear in Delhi
The IMD has predicted mainly clear skies for the national capital with chances of mist or light fog in the morning till Saturday. The minimum temperature is expected to be between 10 to 12 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is expected to be between 25 to 27 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature on Thursday was recorded around 13 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature was 27 degrees Celsius. According to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, the average AQI at 9 am in Delhi was recorded in the very poor category at 309.

There will be no significant change in minimum temperatures for five to six days over northwest India, except over eastern Uttar Pradesh, where temperatures will fall by 2-4 degrees Celsius in the next 24 hours.
Central India will see a drop of 2-4 degrees in minimum temperature in the next 48 hours, after which there will be no significant change. No change will be seen over East India for 24 hours, after which there will be a drop of 2-3 degrees in the next two days. West India will experience a drop of 2-3 degrees in the next 4-5 days, with Gujarat seeing a similar drop within the first three days.
