Heavy rain warning in Jammu and Kashmir, flash floods from 17-19 August, warning of landslides

Meteorological Center Srinagar on Sunday issued a weather warnings for Jammu and Kashmir, which from August 17 to August 19.

The Meteorological Office said light rain is expected in many places with heavy rains in some parts of Jammu Division, especially Jammu, Rasi, Udampur, Rajouri, Ponch, Samba and Kathua. Rainfall of moderate to intensive nature is also likely to be on doda, installment and Ramban, while some areas of Kashmir division may be witnesses but strong mantras with strong winds.

From 20 to 22 August, the weather is likely to remain warm and humid, although some places may have small Thundered. A fresh magic of light is expected at many places in the central region between 23 and 25 August.

The Met Center has warned of cloudbukes, flash floods, landslides, mudslides and shooting stones during 17-19 August Weight Spell.

The advisor said, “People are advised to stay away from streams, Nalas, river embankments and loose structures,” the advisor said, tourists, travelers and transporters should plan accordingly.

Officers have been asked to be vigilant and keep the disaster response teams ready to complete any event.
