‘He provokes him against the nation: BJP leader Slam Rahul Gandhi’s General Z comments

New Delhi, 19 September (IANS) top NDA leaders on Friday depicted Jean Z as allegations of democracy and allegations of electoral misconduct for their recent comments in Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accused of trying to incite unrest among the youth of India.

BJP leader Syed Shahnawaz Hussain strongly criticized Gandhi for allegedly provoking young citizens: “Rahul Gandhi is inciting the youth, students and general jade of the country. He is provoking him against the nation. It is completely unacceptable. It is completely unacceptable. The youth of this country praise PM Modi. This government works for him.”

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya also targeted Gandhi, called a sharp contrast between the past and the present regime.

“Those who have looted the country should focus on defending themselves. When their father, late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi said that 85 of every rupee sent was lost for corruption, people were stunned. Today, under Prime Minister Modi, even though one lakh crore rupees are sent under the government’s schemes, the entire amount reaches the people directly,” he said.

JD (U) national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad criticized and dismissed any claim of a political wave among Indian youth: “The youth of India are aligning themselves with Visan 2047 of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. There is no anti-e-installation wave here … People in India are focusing on jobs, technology and development,”

Earlier on Thursday, Rahul Gandhi posted on X: “The youth of the country, the students of the country, will save the Constitution, protect democracy and stop the vote theft. I always stand with them. Jai Hind!”

By inviting General Z as Democracy defenders, Gandhi attempted to tap in global youth -leadership political movements in Nepal and Bangladesh, where protests led to major government shakeups.

For the first time a significant part of voters with Jean Z, their support may prove to be decisive in the upcoming elections. His emphasis on “vote theft” echoes his previous allegations of electoral misconduct, a subject that the Congress party has repeatedly raised.
