Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said on Tuesday that the Congress never sought support for its campaign, demanding the restoration of the state to Jammu and Kashmir.
Talking to reporters at Safapora, Genderbal, CM Omar, Per News Agency -Kashmir News Observer (KNO), he said that he comes in such statements through media reports.
He said, “He (Congress) did not recently raise the issue during the India Block Meeting. We are the first who raised this demand and brought a proposal in this regard. If he needs our support, let them talk to us,” he said.
Responding to a question about the resignation of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, he said that this is the first time the resignation has come in this way.
In particular, CM Omar visited the woman’s residence, who was allegedly raped and murdered in Safapora last week. He said, “The police have already registered a case.
