Chandigarh, Nov 1 (IANS) Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday said the government has made unprecedented progress in youth employment, providing government job opportunities to 300,000 youth in the last 11 years in a transparent manner.

Of these, 180,000 have been appointed to regular government posts, while 120,000 have got employment through the Haryana Skill Employment Corporation (HKRN).

He said that the youth employed through HKRN have not only got jobs, but their future has also become secure. This process is going on in a completely transparent manner.

The Chief Minister was addressing the media here after transferring more than Rs 109.65 crore to the accounts of 5,22,162 eligible women under the first installment of Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana.

Along with this, he launched the paperless registry system across the state, saying that the new system will relieve citizens from complicated registration processes, eliminate unnecessary delays and curb the possibility of corruption.

The Chief Minister said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the double engine government is taking Haryana forward on the path of innovation, infrastructure and inclusive development.

He said that the government has doubled the pace of development by fulfilling 48 out of 217 resolutions (election promises) in just one year, while work on 158 resolutions is ongoing.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is focusing on both education and skill development for the youth in line with the new National Education Policy.

“A strong ease-of-doing business ecosystem has been established to drive industrial growth,” he said.

In the last 11 years, 12,20,872 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have been registered in Haryana, attracting investments of Rs 28,377.59 crore.

The Chief Minister highlighted that the state is now home to over 9,500 startups and 19 unicorn companies, indicating that Haryana is redefining prosperity while achieving remarkable progress in infrastructure development.

The Chief Minister emphasized that farmer welfare is at the center of government policies. In Haryana, all 24 crops are procured at Minimum Support Price (MSP), and payment is guaranteed within 48 hours of sale. He highlighted that under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, farmers have so far received Rs 15,627 crore in crop loss compensation, which shows the government’s commitment to support the farming community.

Highlighting the women empowerment initiative, 14.50 lakh women from poor families are provided gas cylinders at Rs 500 per month.

Under the “NaMo Drone Didi” scheme, 100 women have been trained in drone operations and provided free drones, and this year 100 more women are receiving free drone training. The Chief Minister said that so far 213,000 women have been recognized as “Lakhpati Didi” in Haryana.
