Chandigarh, October 19 (IANS) Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday urged the young officers of Haryana origin working in various services across the country to play an active role in nation building.
The Chief Minister said this when the youth officer had come to meet him at his residence.
The young officers appreciated the Chief Minister for ensuring continued development and good governance of the state.
Chief Minister Saini wished everyone a Happy Prakash Parv and said, “Diwali inspires everyone to follow the path of truth.” He urged the youth to play an active role in nation building and social development.
The Chief Minister said that the youth of Haryana have brought glory to the state across the country with their dedication and honesty.
He encouraged the officers to maintain transparency, commitment and public service as top priority in their work. Issues related to the development of the state and the country were also cordially discussed in the meeting.
The Chief Minister said that the young officers, wherever they serve, will play an important role in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India 2047 by adopting the principle of ‘Nation First’.
Highlighting the progress of the state in the last 11 years, the Chief Minister said that the state has made remarkable achievements in development and good governance.
He shared that administration has become more transparent, accountable and accessible through e-governance.
He said, under the policy of ‘Bina Kharchi-Bina Parchi’, jobs are being provided to the youth purely on the basis of merit, so that their dreams can be converted into reality.
He said that both the Central and State governments are committed to ensure that development reaches the last person of the society.
The interaction filled the young officers with new energy and inspiration to contribute more effectively to the progress of Haryana and the nation.
