Washington:
US President Donald Trump on Wednesday doubled a funding standoff with top university Harvard, which has become the focal point of his war against elite educational institutions.
Harvard has made out Trump’s efforts to defy, forcing the White House to compel a comprehensive government inspection, unlike many other universities turned under rapid pressure.
Trump said on his true social platform, “Harvard can no longer be considered a good place to learn, and should not be considered in any list of great universities or colleges of the world.”
“Harvard is a joke, teaches hatred and stupidity, and should not get federal money now.”
On Tuesday, Trump threatened to snatch his tax-free position as a non-profit educational institution, before freezing $ 2.2 billion in federal funding.
Trump has demanded that the university replaces the way of running itself, including how it selects the practice of hiring students and her work, and it presents itself to the “audit” of educational programs and departments.
On Tuesday, Harvard President Alan Garber said the school “will not talk about its freedom or its constitutional rights.”
The US President and his administration have justified their pressure campaign on universities, which they say that the Palestinian armed group is a reaction to uncontrolled opponents and support to Hamas.
Anti-Jewish charges are based on protest against Israeli war in Gaza which were swept away in the premises last year.
The White House has also strengthened dozens of universities and colleges, which are with dangers to remove federal money on their policies to encourage racial diversity between students and employees.
