In a video going viral on social media, Cummins was seen showing the middle finger of his right hand to Hardik and Surya, leaving the MI captain completely stunned.

For those unaware, SRH captain and renowned fast bowler Cummins had revealed in 2011 that he had lost the upper part of his finger when he was three or four years old.

He said, “I lost the top part of my finger when I was about three or four (years old).” “It got slammed into a door and cut about a centimeter off the top of my finger. It doesn’t really affect me because (the finger) is about the same length as the other (index finger). I can still find my finger. My sister had tears in her eyes (because) she slammed the door on it,” Cummins told cricket.com.au on the eve of his international debut in 2011.

MI’s win over SRH has made the race for the playoffs more complicated as no team has been able to qualify yet.

After this win, MI will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in their next IPL 2024 match at the Eden Gardens on Saturday. On the other hand, SRH will take on Lucknow Supergiants on Wednesday.
