Washington:
The initial registration period for the H-1B visa, the most popular foreign worker visa for fiscal year 2025, will end at 12 noon ET on March 22, a federal agency said.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services said Monday that during this period, potential applicants and legal representatives must electronically register each beneficiary to participate in the selection process using a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services online account and register each beneficiary for the selection process. Pay the relevant registration fees.
Online account users can also collaborate on registrations and petitions through enhanced organizational account features within their online account.
According to media reports, Form I-129 (Petition for Nonimmigrant Worker, H-1B Petition) and Form I-907 (Request for Premium Processing Service) are now accessible in USCIS online accounts.
USCIS will begin accepting online submissions of H-1B cap petition forms on April 1. “We will announce when non-cap H-1B petitions can be filed online,” USCIS said.
