Srinagar, May 01, KDC: In a significant development, students of Green Valley Educational Institute (GVEI) Srinagar have brought Laurel to the school at the Karate Premier League Championship.
The championship was organized by Amateur Karate Do Association of Jammu -Kashmir (Akajk) on 28 April and 29 in 29 and 2025.
Wafai Tazkia and Barera Begh received two gold medals in each in the Kumite categories, showing extraordinary skills and determination.
Shaya Shokat also added to Tally in a gold and one silver, cut and kumite incidents.
His outstanding performance stood in a large pool of the contestants of the entire region.
The championship was obtained from the presence of Akazak and Akazz Ahmed President Ambedkar Gupta, who appreciated the spirit and discipline displayed by young athletes.
Chairman Gavi Muhammad Yusuf Wani congratulated the students and their families.
He appreciated his hard work and dedication of the students.
“These achievements are a will for the commitment of our students, guidance of their masters and support of our physical education department,” he said.
Wani said that the students have not only proud of the institution, but have also motivated others to pursue excellence in sports.
