Srinagar, May 13: On Tuesday, there was a fierce gun rains between security forces and militants in Shukro area of Keller in the shopkeeper district of South Kashmir.
Reports reaching KDC states that a joint team of police, army and CRPF started a cordon and search operation in Shukro.
As the joint team of forces approached the suspicious place, hiding terrorists opened fire on the forces, leading to a gun.
A senior police officer also confirmed the exchange of firing between militants and security forces.
According to sources, two to three terrorists are believed to be trapped.
