Ahmedabad, Oct 15 (IANS) Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Wednesday met a group of representatives of Lions Club International in Gandhinagar and acknowledged their active participation and contribution in the government-run campaigns.
He also assured them of the support of the state government in their development oriented activities.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given priority to development in all sectors from sanitation to semiconductors and as a result the country is touching new heights of development.
He attributed the country’s growing image and stature to the visionary leadership of PM Modi.
The Chief Minister appreciated the presence of the Lions Club as a charitable organization in countries across the world and assured the organization of support from the State Government in its development-oriented work.
He also shared pictures of the meeting on his X handle.
“When governments and service-minded organizations join hands, the results are truly inspiring,” the Chief Minister said, assuring the organization of the state government’s support in its developmental and humanitarian efforts.
He further said, “Under the visionary leadership of PM Modi, India’s global reputation has grown significantly, and it is heartening to see the Lions Club actively contributing to his people-centric initiatives.”
The Chief Minister said that the Modi government’s emphasis on ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ and ‘Sau Saath Hundred Vikas’ has increased the trust of countries around the world in India.
He also mentioned the role of campaigns launched by the Prime Minister in bringing about change and appreciated the active participation of Lions Clubs in the government’s campaigns.
Lions Club International President AP Singh and other officers and members were present on this occasion.
