GST Reform a Historic Step Towards Viksit Bharat 2047: Piyush Goyal

Mumbai, September 17 (IANS) Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said on Wednesday that GST reform is an important milestone in the journey of self -reliant India and Vikasat India 2047.

Minister Goyal gave credit to the Prime Minister for transformative and historical reforms in GST, saying that he always gives priority to positive politics of development, while people do not accept the negative politics and ideology of the opposition.

“Prime Minister Modi gave two big gifts to improve the standard of living of the middle class and lower middle class, namely income tax exemption and GST reforms. The PM promised GST reforms on August 15, and was implemented before the Navratri festival, gave relief to the common people and strengthened the economy,” the minister said in a press conference.

He expressed that GST improvement will speed up the economy and increase the purchasing power of consumers, increase the pace of trade, increase the production of industries and investment and promote employment generation. These reforms will provide relief to farmers, micro, small and medium enterprises, women, youth, small traders and middle class.

Goyal said that health services will also become more cheap. He also appealed to the industries to pass consumers on full benefits of these reforms.

He said that “our beloved Prime Minister” Narendra Modi, a self -sufficient, strong India has been made a visionary leadership. There is a need for decisive leadership like Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make the country a Vacual India by 2047.

“PM Modi, who dedicated 24 years to public service, worked selflessly. He is a popular leader all over the world, raised the reputation of India and Indians in the world, and he is the most respected person in the world and has received more than 27 highest honors from various countries,” said Minister Goyal.

“A sensitive leader like PM Modi gave priority for the welfare of four groups consecutively – poor, youth, women and farmers. Minister Goyal also said that the BJP is implementing the ‘Seva Pandharva’ initiative across the country on the occasion of PM’s birthday. “Under this campaign, which will continue till 2 October, BJP will organize many public service programs like blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, health check -ups, tree plantations and exhibitions across the country,” he said.
