Thousands of pounds of ground beef already Recalled due to danger health risks.
Xishan Food Group Co., Ltd., Reminiscing About 2,855 pounds of raw ground beef products, according to a Saturday announcement from the Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.
The agency’s report said the product was recalled because it may be contaminated with E. coli O26, a variant of “Shiga toxin-producing E. coli” that can cause serious illness. The issue was discovered “during routine” testing and “sampling results showed the presence of Second. coli O26,” the report said.
The recalled raw ground beef comes in 16-ounce vacuum-sealed packages labeled “FORWARD FARMS GRASS-FED GROUND BEEF.” The side of the package is also marked “Use by 01/13/26 EST 2083 or freeze.”
The beef is sent to dealers and then sold in six states: California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Pennsylvania and Washington.

According to the USDA, people may become sick approximately 28 days after exposure to E. coli O26. People infected with this bacteria often experience symptoms such as diarrhea (which may be bloody) or vomiting.
“Some illnesses last longer and may be more severe. Infections are usually diagnosed by testing stool samples,” the report said. “Intensive fluid replacement and other supportive care are common treatments; antibiotic treatment is generally not recommended.”
