Pardon Ganging Now is investigating more than 1,000 suspects, a guards said.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP), who issued an uneven apology to the victims in 2022, which he had allowed to go down, has “significantly improved” how it investigates Grooming gang and child sexual abuseAccording to a report by His Majesty’s Inspector of Constable and Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS).
Inspectors found that the force now had 300 officers who are working on 59 live investigation, including 714 victims and 1,099 suspects “multi-evictim, multi-abunder” child sexual abuse.
The Greater Manchester Andy Bernham’s mayor said the report shows that the response to the preparation of gangs in the city is now “very strong”, saying: “Any child will never be label or dismissed again when they come forward to report concerns.”
It comes after the announcement of the previous month by the government National inquiry After grooming the gangs, after a rapid review, it was found that the leaders “failed in our duties” to properly understand such a group.
In the review led by Baronic Lewis Casey, a significant over-representation of Asian men was also found, which are suspected of preparing gangs in Greater Manchester, although authorities need to understand in “refusal” why this is the case.
Michelle Skir, an Inspector of the Constable Constable of Majesty, said: “It is clear that for many years, the force has been trying to provide a better service to those who may have sexual abuse experience or may be.
“But for some, the confidence and belief in the police were lost, and the force would not be able to improve its experiences.
“It is important that corrections are led by the experiences of the victims, and if they come forward, they are taken support, protected and seriously.”
A report by the 76-Page HMICFRS found that the current chief constable Sir Stephen Watson and other senior officials ensure that all the rank understands that child protection is a priority, it is said, he said, he or Deputy Chief Constables have talked to every observer personally about it with the sub-chief constables.
The report said: “The officials told us that, due to a cultural change in the Greater Manchester Police, the investigation into child sexual abuse is now considered ‘business’.”
The report said that the gangs have also been provided “heavy facilities” in the chief officer meetings, in which the performance is closely monitored.
GMP is the only force in the country that establishes a dedicated team to investigate the grooming gangs, which was done in 2021, now called the child sexual exploitation team (CSE MIT), with about 100 employees and a ring-fencing budget.
The force also contacts child sexual abuse as this expert organizes severe and organized crime gangs using a strategy.

The force has also recorded demographic data, such as the age, gender and ethnicity and emerging hazards and risks of potential victims and suspects uses “intelligence products” to produce “problem profiles” in detail.
However, inspectors, who had reviewed in October last year, also said that the force knew about “training interval” in some investigation teams and some victims were disappointed in the way their case was handled.
The report also hit the issues of data sharing, sometimes not ready to provide detectives with local councils, which leads to “significant delay in investigation”.
In some cases, it took months to arrive for the intelligence information provided by the Manchester City Council and “so heavyly prepared that some pages included only a few words,” the report said in the report.
Force, local authority and CPS have now agreed to the “more efficient and effective” procedure to allow investigators to review unpublished documents.
To date, the investigation of CSE MIT and earlier gang -groomed gang has 42 punishment and more than 430 years imprisonment for criminals. Investigations are on and many more tests are scheduled.
The report states: “The force completely accepts that it made mistakes in the past.
“Positive and effective steps have been taken to learn from these mistakes and to improve it how it examines sexual abuse from recently and non-recently.”

In response to the report, the Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Bernham said: “I am convinced in my view that the Greater Manchester system is in a different and more strong place than today, when failures occurred.
“The assurance I reviewed has been impacted to enter the broader culture change in all GM bodies. Never will be labeled or dismissed here when they come forward to report concerns.”
Mr. Bernham said that he felt “Vandit” with the government’s decision to start a national inquiry in the gangs after reviewing the Baronic Casey.
He said, “Due to the unavoidable boundaries of such a local review, I was an initial supporter of a national inquiry to bring the accountability of the decision -makers and Baronon KC himself said that there would not be a national investigation. It was not for Greater Manchester Review,” he said.
“We can feel wanted by this. Now being put into a national investigation, we should allow the victims to listen to their voices, to establish the real truth and distribute accountability.”
