Elizabethtown- A grand jury found the father of a nine-year-old Montreal girl dead for murder in the state of New York.
Luciano Fratolin appeared in Elizabethtown, NY today in front of Judge Tatiana Cofter, and requested not to be guilty for killing another degree and hiding a human corpse.
9 -year -old Melina Fratolin was submerged on July 20 in a shallow pond by the Vermont Seema at Tisndaroga, NY.
Police said that Fratolin originally reported her daughter to disappear and potentially kidnap, but the authorities determined the story to go wrong.
A spokesman from the District Attorney confirmed that the case of Fratolin was presented to a grand jury, which returned a true bill of prosecution.
Fratolin, 45, was sent without bail and would return to court on August 19.
