Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced on Wednesday, December 24 that the government will soon launch ,bharat taxi‘The service, which will work on a profit-sharing model with drivers, ANI reported.

Addressing the cooperative convention in Panchkula, Shah said the initiative is designed to enhance the earnings of drivers as well as enhance customer convenience.

He said, “Through the initiative of the Ministry of Cooperation, we will soon launch ‘Bharat Taxi’, every profit of which will go to the driver brothers. This will increase the convenience of the customers and also increase the profits of the drivers.”

The government initiative seeks to integrate drivers directly into the revenue model, ensuring they earn a fair share from each ride. Officials indicated that the model will improve the quality of service for customers while providing a steady income stream for drivers.
