Government suspended the doctor for duty, I I-DAY event in Bandipora

Srinagar, Aug 16: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir suspended the medical officer at District Hospital Bandipora to be absent from duty on August 14 and failed to attend the Independence Day celebrations the next day.

According to the order, a copy, which is with the rising Kashmir, did not report for his prescribed duty on August 14, 2025, affecting the patient’s care in the hospital.

The next day, despite written instructions, she remained absent from the Independence Day celebrations, which the administration described as “insults and disregard for a national event”.

The pending inquiry, the doctor is placed under suspension and attached to the head of the department, ophthalmology, district hospital Bandipora.
