Government committed to revive tourism sector, CM monitoring status personally: Advisor Nasir

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah advisor Nasir Aslam Wani said on Saturday that the government of Jammu and Kashmir is committed to reviving the tourism sector, saying that it would soon bounce back.

According to the news agency – Kashmir News Observer (KNO), while talking to the review meeting of the CM’s advisor, reporters in Kupwara, he said that he is working to achieve the confidence of tourists and the tourism sector will soon be revived, saying that CM Omar Abdullah is actively involved, including Visits.

The advisor expressed optimism about the return of visitors in the region, assuring that confidence-making measures were already giving results. “It will soon be on the track,” he said.

Responding to questions about the government’s promise of free electricity units in Aay category houses, he confirmed that the process had already started. “The implementation has begun, and the benefits will soon reach the qualified,” he said.

He also said that during the meeting, the areas of health, education, roads and sports were largely reviewed. “We are committed to uplift the landscape in all these major areas. Development will appear on the ground,” he assured- (KNO)
