Speaker Mike Johnson says that GOP’s proposed expenses have “no gimmick or move” in the bill, saying that Republican worked in “good faith” by not filling its policy priorities.
“We could have done this,” he told reporters on Wednesday.
“I had a lot of colleagues who wanted to load it with our priorities but the leaders decided that we should do so in good faith just to buy more time for the appropriation process to work.
“This is all like this, so there is nothing to interact that we can pull out of this bill so that it can make it lean or cleaner, it is absolutely clean and it is only 24 pages long.”

About 4 out of 10 Americans say GOP convicted the shutdown
10 out of 10 Americans blamed GOP for the closure of the federal government, found by a new pole.
The Marist Poll38 percent of the Republican was found guilty before the last night shutdown, but highlighted that there is a lot of finger to move around.
According to the survey, 27 percent stated that they would blame the Democrats, and 31 percent would indicate the finger equally on both sides.
Four percent said that they would neither blame the political party.
