Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant group is set to open another restaurant London The site is with plans to create around 150 jobs over the next year as the chain’s expansion gathers pace.
The celebrity chef’s firm revealed it will launch a new Bread Street kitchen at 22 in the first half of 2026. Bishopsgate skyscraper in CityWhere there is already the Lucky Cat eatery and restaurant Gordon Ramsay High, and a cookery school.
It said around 200 jobs have been created at the location so far, with another 150 to be added in 2026.
It comes amid a wave of expansion for the business over the past two years, with 20 sites opening between September 2023 and the end of 2024, including 11 sites in North America.
The latest accounts from London-headquartered Gordon Ramsay Restaurants showed underlying earnings rose 45% to £12 million in the 15-month period to the end of December 2024, as sales rose 40% to £134 million.
Andy Wenlock, chief executive of Gordon Ramsay Restaurants, said income had increased despite “continued pressure on costs and people”.
He said: “This gives us confidence as we enter a transformational phase for the group.
“As an ambitious business we will continue to expand our popular brands in the UK and globally, particularly through the franchise market in the United States for our quick service brands – Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips, Street Pizza and Street Burgers.”
He added: “We are making a significant investment in 22 Bishopsgate and City of LondonCreating growth and jobs along the way.
But he said there is “some uncertainty and challenge” in the economic backdrop.
The business currently has 34 restaurants in the UK and a further 63 internationally.
It has also certified three of its sites as official wedding venues, including most recently its 22 Bishopsgate location.
In February, it completed a deal with existing backers, Lion Capital, to merge its UK and US businesses.
The business was started in 1998 and now has eight michelin It has stars at its sites around the world, including flagship venue Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, which has held three Michelin stars for more than 20 years.
