The whole purpose of this AI cleanup is to simplify your search on Google Photos and reduce the time spent scrolling for the right content. Photo Stack is the biggest AI upgrade for Photos users, who can now have a folder with all the photos you clicked at one time.

So, instead of seeing repeating shots in the gallery, you can search for them in a single folder. Google also uses AI technology to place the best image at the top of the pile, making it again easy to identify the best selection.

The nice thing about this feature is that if you don’t like what the AI ​​has selected for you then you can manually select another photo as the Top Pick. It’s important to know that Google is not using AI to remove images to declutter, but to help you clear space in the app.

Apart from Photos, Google will also make it easy to find screenshots and documents like your personal ID in an album called ‘ID’, but that’s not all, Photos can also capture details about the date and time of your flight and add it to your calendar.
