New Delhi, Nov 14 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday described the NDA’s victory in the Bihar assembly elections as a victory of “good governance and development”, as he pledged to take the state’s infrastructure and culture to new heights and create ample opportunities for youth and women.

PM Modi on social media platform ‘X’ Crediting every NDA worker for the huge mandate in favor of NDA, he said, “In the coming times, we will actively work towards the development of Bihar, giving a new identity to the infrastructure and culture of the state. We will ensure that the youth power and women power here get ample opportunities for a prosperous life.”

In his message, the PM said, “Good governance has won. Development has won. The spirit of public welfare has won. Social justice has won.”

He said, “I have my deepest gratitude to the family members of Bihar who have blessed the NDA with a historic and unprecedented victory in the 2025 assembly elections. This resounding mandate will empower us to serve the people and work with new determination for Bihar.”

PM Modi gave credit for NDA’s performance to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

“The NDA has ensured all-round development of the state. People have given us an overwhelming majority after seeing our track record and our vision of taking the state to new heights.”

He said, “I heartily congratulate Chief Minister Nitish Kumar ji and our NDA family colleagues Chirag Paswan ji, Jitan Ram Manjhi ji and Upendra Kushwaha ji for this spectacular victory.”

PM Modi said that this victory is also due to the hard work of NDA workers who countered the lies of rival parties.

PM Modi said, “I express my gratitude to every NDA worker who has worked tirelessly. They went among the public, presented our development agenda and boldly countered every lie of the opposition. I appreciate them wholeheartedly.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also praised the party workers and termed the NDA’s big victory in Bihar as a mandate in favor of the protest.

“This is the victory of every Biharite who believes in ‘Developed Bihar’. In whatever guise, those doing jungle raj and appeasement politics come, they will not get a chance to loot. The public now gives their mandate only on the basis of ‘politics of performance’. I congratulate Shri @narendramodi ji, Shri @NitishKumar ji and all the leaders and workers of NDA.”

He also appreciated the efforts of NDA workers from booth level to state level who have achieved this result with their tireless hard work.

HM Shah said, “I assure the people of Bihar and especially our mothers and sisters that with the hope and confidence with which you have given this mandate to the NDA, the NDA government under the leadership of Modi ji will fulfill it with even greater dedication.”
