Jaipur, September 30 (IANS) Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar has started a sharp turn on State Congress Committee President Govind Singh Dotsara, accusing them of taking money for transfer of teachers during the tenure of the previous government in the state.
Speaking at Pipli in Sikar during the three -day game Mahakumba and MP Sports Competition organized to mark the birthday of former MP Sumdhanand Saraswati, Dilawar said, “Dotasara is my good friend, but a dishonest friend. He used to take money to transfer teachers. He has many qualities, but I don’t have it, but I don’t have it.”
His comment came in response to Dotasara’s statement on 28 September, where he claimed that despite being the Minister of Education, “there is no knowledge about education.”
Recalling the rule of the previous government, Dilawar alleged, “When Ashok Gehlot was the Chief Minister and Dotasara was the Education Minister, Gehlot himself asked the teachers whether the money was involved in the transfer. The teachers agreed and accepted this in a program. This makes it clear that Dotasara was taking money.”
On the recent transfer of the principals from Laxangargad, he said, “Good people are needed.
Dilawar appealed to the people to use domestic manufactured goods. “From Colgate, we brush, the soap with which we bathe, and the firecrackers we burn on Diwali are mostly foreign-produced. Even ‘Rakhis’ and ‘Gulal’ are imported. With such habits, our respect for the nation is declining, while China supports profit and our enemies.”
Recently condemning the initiative terrorist attack in which 26 people were killed, Dilawar alleged that Pakistan acted with the support of China.
“Pakistan could not do anything alone. But India knows how to face challenges. The war proved that our equipment is the best in the world, due to all Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership,” he said.
The minister also visited the Vedic ashram in Piprali, where he fed jaggery to the cows, and wished Sumdhanand Saraswati’s birthday.
