Mumbai:
Mumbai Customs on Friday seized over 4.65 kg of gold worth Rs 2.49 crore in 12 separate cases.
According to the Airport Commissionerate, Mumbai Customs Zone-III, the gold was found hidden in dry iron, frames of check-in bags, worn clothes, body packs, body cavities, check-in and cabin bags.
Earlier on February 22, Mumbai Customs had seized over 8 kg of gold and five iPhones worth around Rs 4 crore in eight separate cases.
The gold was hidden in check-in bags, boxes of crockery, worn clothes and frames of hand bags.
