It’s interesting to see all the people who are talking about this, everyone arguing, “No, they don’t understand it. It’s about this. No, they don’t understand it, it’s about this.” Know?
“It’s about oil, it’s about drugs, it’s about terrorism. It’s about Trump and his ego, whatever.” I want to give you a completely different perspective on what happened in Venezuela.
All I want to say is that this is not about oil. It’s not about drugs. This is not about terrorism. This is not about China. It is not about communism, Marxism or socialism. It’s about all those things.
So if someone tells you it’s really all about oil, just listen to them, because they may have a very good take on the oil issue, and say, “Okay, that’s good.” But it is not just about this.
So let me tell you exactly. This is the first time in my lifetime that we have a president who is not responding, is not managing the decline of America, is not trying to stabilize the collapsing system.
Trump is doing something I have never seen any president do. He is playing to win. And I mean win it all. I have never seen this before.
Donald Trump has been saying all his life, “America first, America first”. It’s, uh, not a slogan, it’s their way, it’s their world view, and it’s always been that way.
And whether you like it or not, whether you like his style or not, you can’t deny the truth: the world is dividing. And on one side, you have the Communists, you have China.
Parts of the Western Hemisphere are becoming communist. You’re watching it in New York, right? There is Islamism in you too. It extends from Iran to the entire Middle East.
And it’s starting to spread here in America, and it’s starting to spread in Europe as well. There is authoritarianism in you too. Russia and its satellites. got it?
You also have, and we’ve had this with all the other presidents, you have the infamous globalist middle. You know, this soft, bureaucratic, elitist system that promises peace and prosperity.
And gives nothing but debt, decay, censorship, instability and war after war. He has been discredited, and is completely collapsing. So what are we going to become?
It is very important that you understand this, because it will change the way you look at the whole world. what we gonna be? If that soft middle isn’t working, what are we going to become?
Europe has decided they are going to be more fascist. They’re going to go to a global government, and the government is going to control everything, including business. Ok? That is fascism. Like it or not, that’s what it is.
China, communism. what we gonna be? So in that void comes the decision point for all of humanity and especially Americans, because this moment is not just about geopolitics.
It’s really about who sets the table and the agenda for the next 100 years. Who is it going to be? A global government? Chinese government? AI, some technological government? Or the US government?
Whether you like it or not, we are at war. I have been saying for some time that we are in World War III, you just don’t realize it yet, because it will be fought differently.
And hopefully nothing worse will happen. We are in the fourth industrial revolution. This means that AI, quantum computing, advanced manufacturing, all this will decide who will lead the world.
And this is important. Whoever reaches the AI first wins. It is not about speeches, not about summits. There, the climate is not about panels. It’s all about resources, energy, capital, supply chains, data.
And I know I’ve already said that about energy, but let me say it in a different way. Power. That is the battlefield. This is what we are playing for.
The BRICS, the nations Brazil, India and others, um, what they do, what they know is that they understand that, uh, this is a drama for the whole world.
China, Russia, Iran, Venezuela, Nigeria, India, they all know that none of them can challenge the United States. But if America continues to decline, they can do so together.
And we were like this, we’ve been like this under George W. Bush, under Barack Obama, under Joe Biden, a declining America, and they were managing the decline of America.
That’s why you’ve been taught for the last 40 years that America is not so special, that it’s not that great, because they need you to be able to degenerate, to lose faith in America.
And you shouldn’t whine about it so they can chalk it up to something else. Their stated goal is not a multipolar world. This is not freedom, this is not freedom.
But this is a world where no country can stop the elite, where the dollar has been dethroned, where authoritarian systems, whatever they may be, thrive under the guise of balance.
So we’re putting all those pieces in place. Our government, our Congressmen, our senators, our President have been saying one thing to us but they have been implementing all these things.
For the last 50 years, especially the last 20 years, it has accelerated and they have been implementing it and building this system piece by piece, year after year, and then Trump came back.
The first time they had to destroy him because they knew he didn’t see the world that way, he didn’t see America that way. He sees it differently.
He believes America is a special place and needs its place at the table. They had to destroy him. They thought they would keep him out of office. He didn’t, he didn’t.
And in those 4 years between ’20 and ’24, he discovered a lot. I mean, I’m surprised by what I’m seeing. You may disagree with it, but like I said about the progressive movement.
It took 100 years to implement, I’m told that someday people will study it and say, “Look at the genius of this plan. Look how they destroyed the entire West.”
“It’s fantastic. It’s bad, but it’s fantastic.” Let me say the same thing. I don’t know who the advisors are that he’s listening to. I don’t know if he woke up in the middle of the night.
And he said, “No, it’s like that.” I don’t know. But we’ll look back at this time, assuming it worked, and we’ll say, “It was fantastic.”
Did you know that we don’t need oil because of Venezuela? I’m going to get into that here in a second. We don’t need oil.
Did you know that this is the first time since FDR that the world’s resources are no longer under American control, but back in friendly territory? That we are the ones who dominate not only our oil.
But I think the resources are now dominated by 50 or 60% of the resources around the world. This was not the case 2 years ago. This was not the case a year ago.
Okay, so I want to go there, I put up a chalkboard and, and if you’re looking at us on glennbeck.com, you’ll see Venezuela, China, Iran, they’re all connected.
All these things are connected and if someone tells you it’s all about oil, listen to them, because it is, but I don’t know if they understand what they’re saying.
And I’ll explain in a second. If they’re saying, “Well, it’s about drugs,” oh, okay. “It’s about terror. It’s about the hemisphere. It’s about the American military and the war machine.” Yes to all those things.
So let me separate them. First of all, Venezuela has the largest proven oil reserves on Earth right now, 303 billion barrels. At the current market value it is more than $17 trillion.
They also claim that about 8,000 to 10,000 tons of gold is still in the ground. Ok? Now here’s the part you’re not being told. With all that oil, we don’t need oil.
Have you paid attention to gas prices? They keep coming down. We don’t need oil. We have to get the oil out of the ground ourselves, which is us.
We need to enhance who we are. China needs oil. China buys 60 to 90% of Venezuela’s crude oil exports. China also buys 85 to 90% of oil from Iran.
China also buys about half of Russia’s oil. What is happening now? Well, 60 to 90% of total exports from Venezuela are no longer going to China.
How will China be able to meet all its electricity needs? How will they do this if they don’t get oil from Venezuela?
Oh, and what else went haywire this weekend? Iran. They buy 85 to 90% of the total oil in Iran, and they also have huge oil reserves.
So when people say it’s not about oil, or it’s about oil, the argument back and forth is, “No, it’s not about oil. We don’t need it.”
No, it’s absolutely about oil, but not for us. This is about Donald Trump, who is once again playing the long game to win. You are not going to get any oil from the Western allies.
Not going to happen. We don’t need you to win because you have all the energy. You’re not gonna do that. We need energy, the West needs energy.
And you’re not pulling it out of our hemisphere. Well, if Iran and Venezuela collapse at the same time, China will lose 70% of its non-US regulated oil supply. 70%.
What else does this mean besides AI? You lose 70% of your oil to F- that is non-US. You lose 70%. What else can’t you do? Well, you can’t go to Taiwan.
You definitely can’t go to war with Taiwan. You cannot have AI dominance. BRICS has no reserve currency. So just on the oil front, it’s all about oil.
But not everyone’s like – “Oh, this is why Exxon is going to get rich.” No, because if you cut off the oil, there will be no war in Taiwan, because they don’t have the energy to do that.
No AI dominance, because they wouldn’t have the energy to do so, and no BRICS currency. Game over. For now. That’s why it matters, and that’s just one piece of it.
Here’s what Marco Rubio said over the weekend. “We do not need Venezuelan oil. We will not allow, however, the oil industry in this hemisphere to be controlled by adversaries of the United States.”
Is that imperialism? Or is it the defense of the hemisphere? I want you to know, and we’ll talk about this later, because I think after this show today we have George AI.
And we’ll talk about that with Jason, I think George is going to talk about the operation of AI warfare and, you know, what the Founders thought about alien entanglements and everything else.
Umm, but we can argue about the constitutionality of what Donald Trump did. Does he have the right to do so? Well, I don’t know. I don’t know. I think he does.
I don’t necessarily like it, but I also don’t like the fact that Congress has to get involved in short-term things. The way it’s usually played.
I think it’s 30 or 45 days, he can go in and do something in defense of the country, and then he has to approve anything going on within 30 or 45 days.
And I’m quite comfortable with it, uh, but we can argue about it. There are, you know, strict constitutionalists who say, “Absolutely not,” and you know what?
media outlets. There are other people who say, “No, he has a right,” and you know what? Mm, ah, I have a hard time believing that, no, he can do whatever he wants.
This is not true. But we can debate this. You can’t argue that if you say you’re America first, it’s America first.
This is absolutely America first. This is the first thing I’ve ever seen in America. Consider one more thing. Trump isn’t just confronting our enemies.
He is stealing the alliance. There are a lot of things the UAE doesn’t like in the Middle East, but note that they are not being bombed. He is being respected.
Why? Why? Because power flows from relationships, not just weapons. It’s all about stopping Iran, China and Russia. Will go into more depth about this in just a second.
