The pair emerged victorious in the Christmas Day festive finale after tough challenges, defeating presenter Sam Thompson and boxing star Nicola Adams.
BBC Hosted by father-son duo Bradley and Barney Walsh, the game show sees contenders perform various physical feats against the program’s elite athletes, known as Gladiators.
Reflecting on his win, Wicks commented on the infamous Travelator: “Even though I got a little relief, I still found that Travelator tough. It’s a lot harder to do in real life than watching it on TV.”

In the second eliminator, Williams, who was two-hundredths of a second ahead of Adams at the course, said: “I honestly can’t believe it, I’ve had the best day ever.
“The crowd treated me so well when I was performing so badly, so thank you.”
Her win comes after her stint in the Australian jungle as a contestant on ITV I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
Adams, an Olympic gold medalist and former boxer, said: “I got on the zipline and the ball hit my ankle weird and I couldn’t get it back on.”
