Officials said J&K Board of School Education on Wednesday announced the results for the annual 10th standard with more than 79.94 percent students.
An official of JKBOSE told GNS that 145671 students -75427 boys and 70244 girls -Huds enrolled for the examination, which was declared eligible at 116453, while 29093 failed to achieve qualifications.
In terms of pass percentage, girls have performed better with 81.24 percent (57063), which is passing the exam compared to the pass percentage of 78.74 (59390) of boys.
As 16343, students have earned a percentage of 90 to 100 percent while 18678 has secured 80 to 89 percent percentage. Earlier, JKBOSE also announced the results of Higher Secondary Part Two (Class 12) Annual Examination 2025, with a total pass percentage of 75%. Out of 1,03,308 students appearing for the examination, 77,311 were declared eligible.
This is the first time that JKBOSE declared the results of the 12th standard together with the 10th. (GNS)
