A nine -year -old girl and her father have died in a house fire in West Yorkshire, while another 11 -year -old girl fights for her life.
For an ongoing fire report in an ongoing house, the police was called at 6.19 am on Sunday morning by fire service at a address on Russell Close, Hekmandwaik.
Officials attended the address and the three victims were rescued by firefighters, although the father was declared dead on the spot.
Both the girls were rushed to the hospital, declared the youngest dead on Sunday.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Detective Inspector Paul Greetorex said: “We are continue to work with colleagues in the fire service to investigate this terrible tragic incident, resulting in a father and daughter lost their lives.
“Yesterday is going on extensive interrogation and we are working to locate and support the relatives of the victims and there is clearly a terrible time for the family outside the Britain.
“While our inquiry is going on, we do not believe that there are no suspicious circumstances about the cause of the fire and will be preparing a file for the coroner. Our support for the family is still still continuing.”
