Gaza Ed Flotila says that many ships have been intercepted as other people are moving towards the area.
A Gaza-bound Ed Flotila said on Thursday that several of its boats were intercepted by Israeli forces, while others were still moving with their missions.
The tracker of the global Sumud Flotila showed that 15 ships were stopped as 3.48AM GMT, in which other boats were moving towards the enclave.
In a statement, the group said: “Beyond the confirmed barriers, live streams and communication are lost with many other ships.”
The Israeli naval forces on Wednesday intercepted Floral, about 70 knots from Gaza, after warning the ships to turn back. The army stated that the ships were trying to describe as a valid blockade.
Among those who stayed, climate activist was a boat carrying Gita Thunberg.

Gaza aid Flotila says
A Flotila, who assisted Gaza, said on Thursday that dozens of its ships were still moving towards the Palestinian region despite being intercepted by Israeli naval forces.
Global Sumud Flotila said that 30 boats were continuing their journey in the early hours of Thursday morning at a distance of just 46 nattical miles from the coast of Gaza.
At a post on X at 3.20am local time (0020 GMT), the group stated that the ship was “still strong sailing … despite the continuous aggression from the Israeli occupation Navy”.
Flotila spokesman Saif Abukekekek said that Israeli forces had intercepted 13 ships carrying around 200 passengers, many of which were from Spain and Italy.

ICYMI: Israeli stops global Sumud Flotila on the attitude of military Gaza
The Israeli army has stopped global Sumud Flotila on its approach to Gaza on Wednesday evening.
Activists, including Greta Thunberg, are understood to have stopped three vessels from a naval blockade of about 70 knots (130 km) from the Gaza Strip.
Posting on social media, activists accused Israeli forces of using “water cannons” and “active aggression” against their passengers.
