Israel’s military aid agency Kogat said coordination is underway with Egypt to determine a date for reopening the Rafah crossing for the movement of people after completing the necessary preparations.
Kogat said the Rafah crossing would not open to aid because this was not stipulated by the ceasefire agreement at any stage. All humanitarian goods bound for Gaza will pass through Israeli-controlled Kerem Shalom after passing security inspections.
