Gayle King, surprisingly, was smiling when she found herself sitting next to him Fox News contestant Jesse Waters On a recent flight.
Veteran CBS News Host On Monday, he shared a selfie of himself and Waters from an airplane on Instagram.
“Two TV people from competing networks walked on a plane and to the surprise of both of them, they sat right next to each other for over four hours,” King, 70, wrote in the caption.
“How did it go? Speaking for @jessewaters here: everyone had a great time! Hi, Jessie…your number is being saved!”
Waters is a prominent conservative voice, while King and CBS are widely associated with progressive values. However, King’s goodwill gesture was not well received by his followers, who shared their thoughts in the comments section.

“Can you believe my mom was there? Sometimes I feel like I was adopted,” he told his co-hosts on the political talk show.
He continued: “They do these things: Women’s March, BLM, Musk stuff. The issues change, but the one thing that stays the same is Trump.
“They think this guy is like crack cocaine. They get big bursts of energy from time to time, but in the long run it’s been bad for their health.
“They’ve lost the culture, they’ve lost the media, they’ve lost two of the last three elections, they’ve lost all power in Washington, and they’ve lost their minds.”

His co-host, Harold Ford Jr., attempted to shut down the conversation about the 56-year-old actor’s looks by suggesting, “Why don’t we move on to the next segment?”
However, Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich continued: “He’s richer now. Like, he has a lot of money. Money buys a lot of change for everybody.”
