A few months ago, the 62-year-old entrepreneur and his family topped the Hurun India Rich List 2024. In the latest rich list report, he surpassed Mukesh Ambani with his staggering wealth. $1160 Crores. According to reports, a new billionaire emerged in India every five days last year. Wealth calculations in the Rich List, released on August 29, are based on a snapshot of July 31, 2024.

Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and his family’s wealth growth lags behind Adani in the latest ‘Wealth Gains’ report. $The wealth growth of Rs 3,563 billion was also seen in the energy sector. Next is Kumar Manglam Birla’s Aditya Birla Group, which ranks third on the 2024 gainer list with an increase in total wealth $2,01,200. Cyrus S Poonawalla and his family, which runs the Serum Institute of India, are close behind in fourth place. The pharmaceutical company’s fortune grew to $1,955 billion in the past five years.

HCL, the software and services company helmed by Shiv Nadar and his family, ranks fifth in the list of “Biggest Winners in Wealth Growth”. $Wealth increased by Rs 1,723 billion in five years.

Dilip Shanghvi’s Sun Pharmaceutical Industries ranked 6th $Ravi Jaipuria and his family’s food and beverage business RJ Corp ranked seventh with wealth growth of Rs 1,65,900 crore in the past five years, $Wealth increased by Rs 1,187 billion.

Ranked eighth is Sajjan Jindal and his family JSW Steel, which registered $Wealth increased by 1,177 billion rupees, ranking joint ninth. DLF, owned by Rajiv Singh and his family, and Bajaj, owned by Niraj Bajaj and his family, finished ninth. All real estate and automobile companies have recorded wealth growth $1,047 billion rupees. According to CNBC-TV18, the total number of billionaires in India has reached 334, and the cumulative wealth of these billionaires is $159 billion rupees.
