‘Gandhi family’s history is full of vote theft’: Nishikant Dubey on Rahul’s allegations (IANS Interview)

Bhagalpur (Bihar), November 9 (IANS) BJP MP Nishikant Dubey on Sunday targeted Leader of the Opposition (LOP) in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi over his recent ‘vote theft’ allegations and said the people of Bihar are ‘tired’ of hearing the Congress MP’s statements.

In an interview with IANS, Dubey also criticized Rahul Gandhi for calling on ‘Gen Z’ voters to decide the future of Bihar amid the ‘vote theft’ controversy and said the youth will give a “befitting reply” to the opposition in the Bihar Assembly elections.

He also talked about Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra joining Tharu dance with the locals of West Champaran, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy’s statement on the relationship between Congress and Muslims and the increase in the number of Bangladeshi infiltrators.

IANS: Lok Sabha leader Rahul Gandhi has once again alleged ‘vote theft’. How do you see it?

Nishikant Dubey: Rahul Gandhi should learn from his family what theft of votes is. In 1982, Chaudhary Devi Lal won 45 MLAs in the 90-member Haryana Assembly, while the Congress party got only 31 MLAs. GD Tapase administered the oath of office to Bhajan Lal as Chief Minister. When Devi Lal left, it was the first time that the Governor was beaten by anyone. Chaudhary Devi Lal did it. There are thousands of examples of vote theft.

The history of the entire Gandhi family is full of vote theft. That is why Rahul is shouting and the people of Bihar have heard it. This time they can win two or three seats. This will be a big thing for Bihar. After this, the first thing that will happen is that the alliance of RJD and Congress will break forever.

IANS: According to you, what is the reason for Rahul Gandhi’s frequent foreign tours? He had also recently called on ‘Gen Z’ voters to decide the future of Bihar amid the ‘vote theft’ controversy. How do you see it?

Nishikant Dubey: If Rahul Gandhi is not married, does it mean he is still young? No, I and Rahul Gandhi are of the same age. Both my sons are now of marriageable age. I can get them married next year. Does this mean they have become old? He travels to Cambodia and Vietnam, saying that his entire family owns no property. Where is he getting the money for his foreign trips?

Young people – ‘Gen Z’ – are struggling to understand how someone aged 55–56 can still be considered young. I am also of that age and getting older. You (Rahul Gandhi) may not be married, but it does not mean that you are young. ‘Gen Z’ will give them a suitable answer.

IANS: Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was seen joining locals for Tharu dance in West Champaran, while recently Rahul Gandhi had said that “PM Modi can dance for votes”. What is your take on this?

Nishikant Dubey: If Priyanka Gandhi dances well then she is our fellow MP and that is a very good thing. But the way Rahul Gandhi made statements about the Prime Minister is a very indecent and arbitrary statement. Whenever his (Rahul Gandhi’s) father and mother went to the North-East, they were seen dancing. Were they dancing for votes?

This statement shows that Rahul Gandhi is not concerned about Indian civilization and culture. Making such statements about the Prime Minister shows that the Gandhi family did not inculcate good values in Rahul, so what can we say about him?

IANS: You told that Bangladeshis have dominance in three districts of Bihar. Can you elaborate on this?

Nishikant Dubey: I have given a list of three districts of Bihar. I mentioned Kishanganj, Araria, Katihar and it is going to reach Purnia. But Malda, Murshidabad, Dinajpur, Pakur, Saheb Ganj and Jamtara of West Bengal are full of Bangladeshi infiltrators. This is a matter of concern.

In Santhal, tribals used to be 45 percent in 1951, today they are 26-27 percent. Once the census is done, it will become 22-23 percent. Every party will talk about Scheduled Castes and Tribes. The population of tribals is decreasing. Where have the tribals gone?

Muslims were 9 percent, now they are 26 percent. Who are these Muslims? Bangladeshis have captured the water, forests and land of our tribal brothers and our Scheduled Caste brothers. Who can take control of this?

Be it Congress, Trinamool Congress, Rashtriya Janata Dal or VIP Party, all of them are doing vote bank politics. They are engaged in pro-Pakistan politics and pro-Bangladesh politics, and they are doing injustice to Hindus only to get Muslim votes. This election will give them a befitting reply and destroy their pro-Muslim politics.

IANS: Telangana CM Revanth Reddy has said that ‘Congress means Muslims, and Muslims means Congress.’ What is your take on this?

Nishikant Dubey: Revanth is our very good friend. He has worked with us. Revanth’s pain has come out and he has understood it. Congress has nothing to do with Hindutva and only cares about Muslims. He has spoken the truth.

IANS: Congress national spokesperson Supriya Shrinate has accused journalists of ‘kissing the feet’ of the government and called them ‘middlemen’. What do you have to say about this?

Nishikant Dubey: Supriya herself has been a journalist; Who knows, she may have been a pimp in the past.
