According to leads, the winds have steered towards NDA as it’s leading in over 190 constituencies with a possibility of a landslide victory, while the Mahagathbandhan stands way below, with about 50 seats. Whereas the new entrant, Jan Suraaj Party, might be left with zero seats in its bag.

A total of 2,616 candidates contested 243 seats over two phases – 121 seats on November 6 (phase 1) and the remaining 122 on November 11 (phase 2) – covering all 243 constituencies. The minimum number of seats required to form the government is 122.
