Frustrated Boris Johnson loses temper at Covid inquiry: ‘You try!’

boris johnson appeared to be angry while giving evidence covid Questioned on Tuesday (21 October) he told the panel that his job “was not easy”.

The former Prime Minister was being questioned about the impact of the pandemic on young people and children, specifically discussing the method of decision-making over test results in England.

Responding to Claire Dobbin Casey, he said: “I would just say that, you know, when people can’t sit exams you try to put in a system to give them fair exam results. It’s not easy. OK? That’s all I’ll say.”

It is Mr Johnson’s second inquiry, which he launched in 2022 to put the government’s actions “under the microscope”. The public inquiry is currently in its eighth module, which focuses on youth.
