Mohan Bhagwat made headlines in his Vijayadashami address in the grounds of the historic Rehimbagh in Nagpur, the active association of Swayam Sevak in various aspects of social life, as well as various organizations and institutions also told how they are working with many individuals who are actively working in the society.
He also underlined Swayamsevak in the near future along with seven goals and objectives of the Sangh:
Revival of Bharat
The RSS chief said that Bharat’s resurrection is gaining momentum, however, the current policies and outline and their insufficiency are a challenge for us.
He said, “We have moved forward, but it will not be possible to make sudden changes. In the long run, we will need to make gradual changes. However, there is no other way to protect ourselves from the challenges that we and the world are currently facing or will face in the future,” he said.
He said that based on our overall and integrated approach, it was needed to create a successful development model and introduce it to the world.
Make India a perfect model of development
Bhagwat said that the work of making the country an ideal model for the world is not the only responsibility of the system and it was also revealed that there is limited ability to bring changes in systemic structures.
“The inspiration and ability to do this eventually comes through the strong will of the society. Thus, change in social awareness and social conduct is necessary to bring social change. Changes in the behavior of society do not come through speeches or texts. We need to create active social awareness, and it needs to become a living example of change,” he said.
He further said, “At all levels, there should be individuals who are devoted to society, who adopt transparency and selflessness, and who consider the whole society as their own and operate themselves with good behavior towards it. We need local social leadership that can inspire society as a role model while living with them.”
He said that through social change, social change through character building and systemic change is the right way to bring changes in the world.
He said, “It has been a collective experience of Swamm Sevak,” he told the gathering.
social change
Bhagwat said that in every society, there is a system to create such individuals, but it is open to manipulate due to various aspects including foreign invasion and therefore the society should be re -established for the present time, our homes, our education system and various dimensions of the society.
Describing the Sangh as an ideal model for this change, he said, “We need to create this work for people who can complete this work. Even after mentally accepting this idea, in fact it requires changing habits of mind, speech and action to bring it into practice. This requires a system.”
He said, “The essence nurtures personal and collective qualities and souls and tries to create a favorable environment for better basic human values and solidarity within the society, while actively attached and supported in social activities,” he said.
Social unity
Bhagwat described social unity as the most important factor for the progress of any nation.
He said that since the establishment, Bharata has been associated with differences at many levels including geographical diversity, caste and sub-caste at many levels including languages, religions, diverse lifestyle and various types of dishes and suggested that our ‘separate identity’ should not be divided into society.
He said, “Despite all our different identities, we are all parts of a large society. We must remember that this big identity is above everything else for us. Everyone has their own beliefs, icons and places of worship. We should be careful not to insult thoughts, words, or action,” he said.
Figrantly advised against any form of violence, he said that hooliganism and violence are completely uncontrolled because it creates social disturbance.
He further said that even good people of society and younger generation need to be vigilant and organized, if necessary they should also intervene.
Strengthen ‘Indian’ culture
The ‘Indian’ culture is a special feature of India, which is completely inclusive because it teaches us to respect and embrace all types of diversity, Bhagwat commented.
“Nationalism (nationalist spirit) is conducting itself according to our Indian cultures. This Hindu President always keeps us together by accepting and respecting all the diversity. We do not have the concept of ‘nation state’. The formation of states and declines, while the nation is not a vigilance.
Enrichment
The RSS chief called upon the society to make Bharat rich again with his hard work and effort.
“Hindu society ‘is a great idea of’ Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam ‘and a patron. That is why it is the duty of Hindu society that Hamat is rich and a country that contributes a lot to the whole world.
“An organized society can fulfill all its duties in itself. No separate effort from outside will not be required,” he said.
Creating personal and national character
The RSS chief said that Bharat has to strengthen both personal and national character to fulfill our dreams of making superpower.
He said that the Sangh Shakha provides a clear concept of our national identity and pride, and these values are developed in individuals in daily programs.
“During the Shatabadi Varsh (centenary year), the Sangh will try to ensure that its work of ‘Vyakati Neerman’ (character building) spreads across the country and the Panch Parvartan program, which is aimed at bringing gradual changes in social conduct, is adopted by all sections of the society through examples of Swamsevs.”
Social harmony, protection of family values, environmental protection, selfishness and self -reliance, and performing legal, citizens and constitutional duties – are the five values that individuals and families should include, they said.
