Ahmedabad, October 4 (IANS) 2001 to lead the withdrawal mission “Operation Ganga” in 2022 from the reconstruction of Earthquake-Bhang Kutch, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has continuously served for humanity at the core of his leadership.
After the devastating Gujarat earthquake in 2001, the then Chief Minister Narendra Modi took charge and committed himself to restore Kutch. Under his leadership, the region was converted into a rich center of industry, trade, agriculture and tourism.
Later, as Prime Minister, his decisive tasks during the Russia-Ukraine conflict ensured a safe return of around 18,000 Indians trapped in the war zone.
Whether it is to restore life at home or protect citizens abroad, PM Modi has demonstrated a consistent commitment for public welfare.
A social worker of Kutch, Bharatbhai Sanghvi said, “PM Modi has always served for humanity and public welfare during his political career. In 2001, after the disastrous earthquake in Kutch, he took charge as the Chief Minister and devoted himself to the rebuilding of intelligent, industries, and normal life.”
Former Information Commissioner Uday Maharkar said, “As Chief Minister, Modi’s dedication became a rich center for Industry, Trade, Agriculture and Tourism, one of the fastest growing districts of India.
A medical student who returned from Ukraine, Bhargavi Patel shared his experience: “Even after becoming Prime Minister in 2014, PM Modi preferred the safety and welfare of Indian citizens. During Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Operation Ganga secured commitment to people under his leadership.”
From the reconstruction of Kutch and improving the lives of his citizens, from the nationwide efforts to bring Indians home safely from global crises, PM Modi has constantly kept the country and its people in every role first.
