Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur said that the team is happy to share this moment with President Murmu. “This tournament (ICC Women’s World Cup) was very special for us. When we came to know that this tournament was being held in India, we decided that we would not let the trophy go out of the country. We were confident of winning this tournament,” she said. President Murmu called the members of the Indian Women’s World Cup-winning team as “role models”. He expressed confidence that with the same qualities with which he has written history, he will keep Indian cricket on top in the future also.
