Surprisingly, however, even the French ambassador is not safe in the country’s capital. The French ambassador’s mobile phone was stolen from famous areas like Chandni Chowk in Delhi.
In fact, the French Ambassador to India, Dr. Thierry Mathieu, had submitted an electronic complaint on October 20. In his complaint, he said his mobile phone was lost near a Jain temple in Delhi’s Chandni Chowk area. In response to this case, the Delhi police took severe action and arrested 4 people. The mobile phone has been recovered, Delhi Police said.
