Four councilors have been suspended by reform uk For “bringing the party into disrepute”, a party spokesperson said.

A spokesman for Reform UK said: “CLR Paul Thomas, Oliver Bradshaw, Bill Barrett and Maxine Fothergill have been suspended pending investigation following evidence that they have brought the party into disrepute.”

It comes after a video of a chaotic Kent Council meeting was leaked at the weekend, showing a heated disagreement between councillors.

In the abusive video members were told by Kent County Council’s reform leader Lyndon Kemkarn to “fuck it” if they did not agree with decisions.

Cllr Kemkarn warned dissenters that they would be “spoiled” and that Reform would not win the general election if they failed to balance Kent’s budget.

Reform UK has been contacted for comment.
