Continuing his determination against the danger of drugs, District Police Anantnag has achieved significant success by capturing four drug pedals in different examples and seizing substances such as heroin from their possession.
In the first incident, a police spokesperson said, a notorious female drug pedal, Khushboo Jan D/O Farooq Ahmed Sheikh R/O Bangidar was arrested near Bangidar Bridge with a substance like 07 grams of heroin. A case FIR number 100/2025 and investigation is underway under Section 8/21 NDPS Act registered in police station Anantnag.
In another case, two drug pedals Nargis W/O Mohammad Ali R/O Bawana JJ Colony, Delhi -39 and Mohammad Irfan S/O Mohammad Jahangir Khan R/O Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh were kept in possession of 03 grams and 06 grams respectively. In this regard, FIR No. 104/2025 has been registered in PS Anantnag under Section 8/21 NDPS Act and further investigation is on.
In a third operation, Ishfaq Ahmed Hazam S/O Gul Mohammad Hazam R/O said, Doru Shahabad was arrested after being found in the possession of a substance like 06 grams of heroin. A case under Section 8/21 NDPS Act is registered in FIR number 105/2025 PS Anantnag and has been investigated.
